Abstract

The effectiveness of the country's innovative development is a derived from increasing the competitiveness of science, increasing its efficiency. In this regard, research in the field of evalu­ating the effectiveness of funding for research and development is of particular interest. The arti­cle defines the characteristic features of the effectiveness of Research and Development (R&D), identifies the problems of effectiveness evaluating of R&D, analyzes the financing of R&D in the Republic of Belarus, and assesses the effectiveness of research costs.
