Abstract

Negative factors of the impact of pollution in the wastewater of milk processing enterprises were revealed: an unacceptable decrease in the concentration of oxygen in the water, eutrophication, violation of the normal functioning of biological municipal treatment facilities. Analysis of the traditional structure of local treatment facilities of milk processing enterprises was carried out, which indicated significant shortcomings in the management of their technological processes. It has been established that at most production facilities only SCADA dispatching systems are used, which significantly reduces the efficiency of operational management decision-making processes. Based on UML notations, diagrams have been created for managing local treatment facilities and washing equipment of the dry dairy products workshop. It was revealed that in such a procedural decision-making scheme, the main cognitive burden remains on specialists, which makes it expedient to use multi-agent systems for monitoring water consumption and managing wastewater treatment, which allow creating an integral information environment with maximizing interoperability. Based on the AOSE (Agent-Oriented Software Engineering) methodology, architectural and algorithmic support for multi-agent monitoring of wastewater treatment and water consumption of milk processing enterprises has been developed. The structure and tasks of the "Top Level Manager" agent are justified; in the framework of water consumption and wastewater treatment of milk processing production – this is the coordination of flows, resources and environmental risks between workshops and local treatment facilities. The potential effects of implementing such a system in terms of improving OPEX (cash costs for electricity, reagents, disposal/storage/processing of sewage sludge, payroll) and CAPEX (cash costs for excessive investments in modernization of water cycle processes and equipment) are given; positive ESG metrics are indicated (reducing excess cash costs for emergency discharges and environmental violations).
