Abstract

In recent years, construction using 3D printers has rapidly gained popularity, which is due to the high speed of construction of objects and the ability to create complex shapes. The key area of research is the methods of reinforcing 3D printed structures, which improve the mechanical properties of finished products. Reinforcement is a critical element that increases its strength and durability of buildings printed using modern technologies.

Internal reinforcement is one of the main approaches, in which reinforcing elements are integrated directly into the cross-section of the building material during printing. External reinforcement is implemented by installing additional elements on the surface of an already molded structure, which improves its resistance to environmental influences, such as temperature changes and mechanical impacts.

The integrated reinforcement method is considered, which allows reducing the cost of materials and installation, which is important in the context of modern construction.

Particular attention is paid to the consideration of an innovative solution – a rod reinforcement of a construction 3D printer. Such equipment is capable of automatically embedding reinforcing rods into printed structures, which minimizes the human factor and increases the accuracy of reinforcing element installation. The integration of this device into the 3D printing process opens up new prospects in the construction industry, allowing to significantly speed up the construction time of objects while simultaneously improving their structural reliability.
