History of renamings

The founder and publisher of the scientific and practical journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University” is the educational institution “Brest State Technical University”.

The journal was founded in 2000 under the title “Vestnik of the Brest Polytechnic Institute”, since 2001 (after renaming of the university) it has been called “Vestnik of the Brest State Technical University”; was published in six series until 2018, in five series until 2020. Each series had its own name, the frequency of release was once a year with preservation of numbering. From 2021 to the present “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University” is no longer divided into series, but includes sections: civil and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, geoecology and economics. The third issue is published in English under the title: “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University”.

In 2000, a series of the journal “Vestnik of the Brest Polytechnic Institute. Series: Construction and architecture". From 2001 to 2020 a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Construction and architecture" (once a year).

In 2000, a series of the journal “Vestnik of the Brest Polytechnic Institute. Series: Water construction, heat and power engineering, ecology.” From 2001 to 2003 a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Water construction, heat and power engineering, ecology.” From 2004 to 2009 a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Water construction and heat power engineering.” From 2010 to 2020 a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Water management construction, heat power engineering and geoecology” (once a year).

In 2000, a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Physics, mathematics, chemistry." From 2001 to 2020 it was published under the title “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Physics, mathematics, computer science" (once a year).

In 2000, a series of the journal “Vestnik of the Brest Polytechnic Institute. Series: Economics". From 2001 to 2020 a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Economics" (once a year).

From 2000 to 2003 a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Mechanical engineering, automation, computers.” From 2004 to 2020 it was published under the title “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Mechanical Engineering" (once a year).

In 2000, a series of the journal “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Humanities, teaching methods." From 2001 to 2017 it was published under the title “Vestnik of Brest State Technical University. Series: Humanities" (once a year).

For many years, the publication has maintained its position as the leading scientific and practical journal of the Republic of Belarus on fundamental, theoretical and applied problems in various sectors of the national economy.
