Abstract

FE-Model of timber joints with screw subjected to axial tension is described in this paper. FE-Model Evaluation and Validation is based on comparison between the results of experimental and FE-analysis of timber stressed state in joint. The relationship between the wood stress values and the anchorage length and the distance from the screw axis is presented and analyzed.
