DIGITAL STAGE IN ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The works of both domestic and foreign authors are devoted to the study of issues of the digital economy. While emphasizing the significance and importance of such studies, attention is drawn to the lack of unified approaches to defining the essence of the digital economy, the importance of which is increasing given the increasing importance of digitalization processes in economic activity. In order to solve the problems, the article analyzes the definitions of the digital economy, main characteristics and features. It is determined that the key factors of production in such an economy are data, information and knowledge.
