Abstract

The article examines various areas of activity of the industrial laboratory, defines its functions and tasks. The positive and negative aspects of the implementation of research and development projects by employees of the industry laboratory are analyzed. A review of the legislative framework in the field of legal support for scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities in the Republic of Belarus was carried out. A new definition of the term “industrial laboratory” is proposed, which emphasizes the role of the industrial laboratory in carrying out research work, supporting innovative projects, testing and implementing results in the production process, as well as in the education and training of specialists.
