Abstract

The main directions of determining defects of reinforced concrete structures arising during operation of buildings and structures of public utility purposes (treatment facilities) are considered. The developed criteria for assessing the technical condition of reinforced concrete structures made of heavy concrete, ensuring the passive state of steel reinforcement, starting from the moment of manufacturing the structure, are presented. A criterial assessment is given to the main dependencies influencing the protective properties of concrete and its corrosion behavior.
