Abstract

The article focuses on the disclosure of the essence of such concepts as innovation, innovative activity, innovative development and innovative product. It also describes the principles of innovation policy and the difficulties that arise in the process of introducing innovative processes into the agro-industrial complex. The Republic of Belarus is chosen as an example.
