Abstract

Innovative technologies in pedagogy represent the established methods of teaching in the sphere of education in general. As the main task of higher education is considered the preparation of a qualified, competitive in the labour market, competent and ready to work effectively in the profile of his/her activity employee. The quality of specialist training is considered to be the most important component of modern professional education. Higher education should contribute to the development of thinking, formation of methodological culture on the basis of cognitive, professional, communicative activity. The article briefly discusses innovative teaching technologies used in the educational process in secondary and higher educational institutions. The components of modern education and learning process are analysed. Based on the results of the research, examples of actual innovative technologies in the pedagogical activity of teaching practice-oriented specialities in higher educational institutions of Belarus are given on the examples of Brest State Technical University and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
