MODELING THE OPERATION OF A TRAFFIC LIGHT OBJECT

Abstract

In this article, a system for modeling the operation of a traffic light object at an intersection is considered. The prospects of automating traffic management using adaptive algorithms are discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of traditional and adaptive traffic light control systems are described. The structure of the modeling program and the algorithms of the model are presented.
