POTENTIAL OF NATURAL LANDSCAPES OF BYKHOV DISTRICT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF TYPES OF NATURE-ORIENTED TOURISM

The potential of the natural landscapes of the Bykhovsky district of the Mogilev region of the Republic of Belarus is considered for the purpose of developing nature-oriented types of tourism, such as ecological, agroecotourism, health and wellness, active, hunting and educational.
The study is based on the analysis of data on the physical and geographical features of the district, its landscape structure and natural resources, including natural monuments and reserves. Geoinformation technologies are used to create a digital map of the district landscapes.
The article considers the resources of wetlands and forests that can contribute to the development of ecotourism, and describes existing tourist routes and opportunities for creating new ones. The need to improve infrastructure and cooperate with local agroeco-estates to attract tourists is emphasized. Attention is also focused on the restoration of health and wellness tourism and educational tourism, which can increase interest in the ecology and cultural heritage of the region.
The possibilities for the development of various tourist destinations are described. Measures are proposed to increase the attractiveness of the area as a tourist destination.
