AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY IN THE CONDITIONS OF SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES

Abstract

The automotive industry is one of the key areas of the Russian economy. Stimulating such an industry, as well as related enterprises necessary to produce cars, is an extremely urgent problem in the context of economic sanctions and import substitution policy

This article presents the features, problems, and prospects for the development of the automotive industry in Special Economic Zones in Russia. An assessment of the effectiveness of measures of state support for the functioning of the automotive industry and free economic zones is given, examples of the activities of free economic zones specializing in the automotive industry are considered. The prospects for the development of the automotive industry in Russia in connection with the current foreign policy situation and the economic situation in the state are also determined.
